Help awaken your childs natural love of music! Tempo for Tots is a music participation program for toddlers and preschoolers. The early childhood years are so important when it comes to musical development. Children who play or sing music on a regular basis perform better in school. Since playing, singing and dancing to music increases both fine and gross motor skills and helps develop hand-eye coordination, these children are better able to control their bodies. Those actively involved in music also tend to have high self-esteem and are better at playing with others.Our program seeks to develop your child’s musical awareness in the following areas * Listening to live and recorded music * Singing * Rhythm * Hand Clapping * Melody & Pitch * Dynamics * Musical Instruments * Music Appreciation * Marching * Improvisation Our goal is to show every child that THEY are musical. We will put music to motion and use rhymes to teach rhythm. The children will learn to keep a beat with our colorful bells, clackers and maracas. Tempo for Tots also brings your child's imagination to life with movement activities.
