According to Jim , as a student with Wright, the home-schooled eighth-grader has had a whole new world of music open to him with material from the 60s, from such greats as Thelonius Monk, John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton. His father said he is pleased with the "huge amount of progress" Jordan has made under Wright's tutelage. Update 10/2011: Jordan has just embarked on a major World Tour with the band M83 in support of their just released album "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming" which debuted at #1 on the Billboard electronic music charts. Jordan performed live with M83 on Jimmy Fallon Late Night on 11/21/2011 and on the Carson Daly show on 12/15/2011. Update 12/7/12: Jordan's band M83 has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Music Album for their Album "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"!!!!!!!!
